Windows 10

On September 30th Microsoft announced Windows 10. Nine is dead before it even saw the light of day. Microsoft it seems is already trying to distance itself from windows 8. So much so that users of Windows 8 and 8.1 will be offered a free upgrade to Windows 10 when it is launched. There are also some key new features in windows 10 to help set it apart from it’s predecessor.

These new features include multiple virtual desktops, the ability to run any app/program in a window and a start button.

Although some of the ‘new’ features are already available and have been for many years in other versions, those with windows 8.x will no doubt find these additions very useful. You can see a video with Microsoft’s Joe Belfiore demonstrating many aspects of the Technical Preview version below.
